Garret Edwards es actualmente Doctorando (Ph.D.) en Derecho en la Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna di Pisa en Italia (SSSA 2022/25), e investiga sobre Derecho de la Propiedad Intelectual, Derecho de Autor, Tecnología e Inteligencia Artificial (IA).
Es abogado por la Universidad Nacional de Rosario de Argentina (UNR '12) con Diploma de Honor (Summa Cum Laude) y Medalla de Oro por la Corte Suprema de Justicia de la Provincia de Santa Fe. También posee un Máster en Derecho (LL.M.) con Especialización en Derecho de la Propiedad Intelectual de la London School of Economics and Political Science de Inglaterra, Reino Unido (LSE 2020/21).
Asimismo, es Profesor Universitario en Ciencias Jurídicas por la Universidad del Centro Educativo Latinoamericano (UCEL '13) y Especialista en Gestión Educativa (FLACSO '14).
Se desempeña como Director de Investigaciones Jurídicas de la Fundación Libertad (Argentina), y es Profesor de Posgrado en la Universidad Francisco Marroquín (Guatemala), Profesor Adjunto de Filosofía del Derecho en la UCEL y Profesor Adscripto de Derecho Político en la UNR. Además, es conductor de radio y televisión, incluyendo su programa La Inquietud en CNN Radio Rosario. En ocasiones publica firmando Ernesto Edwards.

Garret Edwards is currently a Ph.D. in Law student at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa in Italy (SSSA 2022/25), researching on Intellectual Property Law, Copyright Law, Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
He holds a J.D. from the National University of Rosario in Argentina (UNR '12) with a Diploma of Honor (Summa Cum Laude) and a Gold Medal from the Supreme Court of Justice of the Province of Santa Fe. He also holds an LL.M. with a Specialization in Intellectual Property Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science in England, United Kingdom (LSE 2020/21).
He is University Professor in Legal Sciences from the University of the Latin American Educational Center (UCEL '13) and Specialist in Educational Management (FLACSO '14).
He serves as Director of Legal Research at Fundación Libertad (Argentina), Associate Professor of Philosophy of Law at UCEL, and Adjunct Professor of Political Law at UNR. Furthermore, he is a radio and TV host, including his show La Inquietud on CNN Radio Rosario. Sometimes he publishes under the name Ernesto Edwards.
